Abu Dhabi Capital Group Acquires Stake in React Holding to Expand Events Portfolio

Abu Dhabi Capital Group has acquired a stake in React Holding, an events and production company, adding the business to the group's investment ecosystem.

The partnership agreement was signed on Thursday at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi by Khalifa Al Mazrouei, ADCG's chief information officer, and Joseph Badr, React Holding's chief executive. Senior management and executive leadership from both organisations attended the signing.

Al Mazrouei called React's arrival in the group "a significant milestone" in widening ADCG's portfolio across media and events. He said the company has had a presence in Abu Dhabi for two decades and brings "scale, market understanding and operational strength" that make it a valuable enabler for the group. Both sides see "significant potential" for new investment opportunities and growth in the sector, he said.

React Holding was founded in 2006 and has grown into an integrated group of specialist companies: React Events, Mediabase, Redpill, Clue Media, Impulse Gulf, Vision X and Horecons. Their work spans strategy, creativity, production, fabrication, technology and delivery.

Under the agreement, React Holding will support ADCG's existing businesses and help develop future media and events projects for the group, advancing investment, delivery and business development. ADCG contributes investment strength and international reach. React brings established operations, industry expertise and a business network. Both sides said the partnership is meant to accelerate growth in the UAE and internationally, and to open the way for joint ventures and new investments.

The companies framed the deal as backing Abu Dhabi's economic vision and as support for economic expansion across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. For React, it marks a new phase of growth and strengthens its position inside ADCG's business ecosystem.

Abu Dhabi's media and events sector sits inside a broader push to make the emirate a global leisure and entertainment destination. Events, production, fabrication and venue delivery underpin its ability to stage large-scale entertainment, cultural and business programmes. The emirate's expanding attractions feed the Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030, which targets higher visitor numbers, stronger international appeal and sustainable growth in tourism.

The stake gives ADCG a delivery layer rather than another venue or attraction. An investment group can back a destination or a programme, but staging, fabrication and technical production are what convert that backing into events on a calendar. React's operating companies supply exactly that, and a stake gives ADCG a say in where that capacity is pointed as the emirate's schedule of entertainment and business events grows.
