Ajman Chamber to launch Thara ecosystem at inaugural Thara Connect Forum
The 29 October 2026 forum will bring investors, founders and experts to the Thara Entrepreneurship Centre under the patronage of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi.
Ajman Chamber is preparing to launch the Thara Investment and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem at the inaugural Thara Connect Forum on Thursday, 29 October 2026. The forum will be held at the Thara Entrepreneurship Centre in Ajman.
The event is under the patronage of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and Supreme Council Member, and will be held in the presence of Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council.
Investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs and industry experts from the UAE and abroad are expected to attend. The forum is intended as a platform for knowledge exchange, connections and investment and partnership opportunities.
Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman Chamber, said the Thara launch reflects the UAE leadership's vision of a diversified and competitive economy. He said entrepreneurs and startups have a key role in economic growth.
Maryam Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Chairperson of the Thara Investment and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, said Thara is a significant step in Ajman's approach to the new economy. She said it creates an integrated environment that supports entrepreneurs at different stages of business growth.
The forum will include panel discussions and specialised networking sessions. A startup exhibition will showcase innovative solutions and give entrepreneurs direct access to investors and business leaders.
The event is expected to reveal more details about Thara's components, initiatives and the investment and entrepreneurship opportunities it will offer. The ecosystem is intended to build an integrated environment for entrepreneurs and startups at various growth stages, and to facilitate investment opportunities and partnerships between emerging businesses and investors.
The forum is also meant to reinforce Ajman's position as an attractive destination for innovative businesses and emerging ventures.
The mix of a launch, an exhibition and structured networking gives the forum a practical role. It will test whether a government-backed ecosystem can turn introductions into working relationships between early-stage companies and private capital. That is a different task from publishing a strategy, and it will be judged by what follows the event. For founders, the value will depend on whether those introductions lead to deals, pilots or long-term partnerships after the forum closes.
