Hire AI's voice agents recruit, screen and bill by outcome

Hire AI builds voice-first agents that carry out daily work in a voice close to a person's. The company took a place among the 2025 Future 100, and it bills differently from most software vendors: customers pay by outcome, not by seat or subscription.
That pairing of a talking agent with a results-based invoice targets work that is repetitive, high volume and easy to count. Recruiting is the market Hire AI entered first.
Mo, working both sides of the hiring desk
Mo is the name given to the company's earliest agent. For candidates, Mo is a talent manager. For companies, the same agent does a recruiter's job. A candidate who would rather speak than fill in a form can talk to it; an employer can use it to keep hiring moving without adding recruiters.
The talent-management side matches candidates with fast-growing companies, a category that tends to hire in bursts and rarely has the recruiting staff to keep up.
Outcome pricing shifts the risk
Charging on results changes who carries the risk. A subscription asks the customer to bet that the tool will work. An outcome fee asks the vendor to prove it did. For an agent that answers candidates, screens them or follows up with them, that is a checkable claim, and it puts pressure on reliability rather than on seats sold.
The work itself is bounded, and it leaves a record. A call happened or it did not. A candidate moved forward or did not. That is not always true of software priced per user, where the value is harder to point at.
Voice matters for a plain reason: screening calls, scheduling and first conversations happen out loud. Hire AI says its agents are built to scale, so the same setup can take on more of that work as a customer's volume grows.

Hiring has become a crowded proving ground for agent builders, partly because the output is countable: a role filled, an interview booked, a candidate dropped. Voice gives the sellers of that work a way to sound human on the phone while the paperwork and the fee sit on the other side of the transaction. Whether the model holds will show up in the one number outcome pricing exposes, which is completed work.
