HUMAIN Invests in Arabic.AI and Tarjama for Arabic Enterprise AI

On August 28, 2026, HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund company delivering full-stack AI capabilities globally, announced a strategic investment in and partnership with Arabic.AI and Tarjama. The partnership pairs HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure with Tarjama’s language expertise and Arabic.AI’s translation, document intelligence, and enterprise language technologies. Together they bring more than 18 years of language technology and enterprise delivery experience to the Saudi market.

The investment is aimed at accelerating deployment of Arabic.AI’s solutions to Saudi enterprise customers at scale. On the infrastructure side, HUMAIN contributes locally operated AI infrastructure, next-generation compute, and advanced models. Arabic.AI brings Cleverso, its Arabic-first translation management system, Arabic translation models, and a delivery model that embeds language technology into enterprise operations. Tarjama’s contribution sits in the language services and delivery experience layered on top of those models.

Three areas will be tackled first:

• The Translation Management System, an Arabic-first platform with enforced glossaries, compounding translation memory, and control over linguistic assets.
• The Archive Digitization Engine, which converts legacy documents, records, and media into searchable Arabic knowledge. It captures handwritten and degraded script, classifies material automatically, and gives rights-managed access.
• Document Intelligence Agents, which read, check, and draft contracts, tenders, and filings. They perform clause-level extraction, automated compliance checks, and human-in-the-loop drafting.

The companies will work with early enterprise customers to bring Arabic.AI’s solutions to the Saudi market. The first solutions are expected to be unveiled at LEAP 2026.

The collaboration is intended to simplify adoption and reduce the time from concept to deployment. That framing suggests the bottleneck is deployment, not model quality. The hardest part of Arabic-language AI is rarely the model alone; it is running the model where documents, contracts, and workflows live. With locally operated compute and enterprise language tools in one partnership, the companies are trying to make Arabic AI a production system, not a demonstration. For Arabic.AI and Tarjama, this also means a route to Saudi customers backed by infrastructure and capital from the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund. The first public test of that route will come at LEAP 2026, when the earliest products are expected to be shown.
