Olive Gaea is a Dubai climate-tech company founded in 2021 by Vivek Tripathi, its co-founder and chief executive, and Jessica Scopacasa, its co-founder and chief marketing officer. It works in the sustainability and environment sector, and it has been named a 2025 Future 100 winner.
One environment instead of several tools
The company's platform is called ZERO. It runs on artificial intelligence and folds sustainability data management, carbon accounting, ESG reporting, decarbonization planning and sustainability performance management into a single digital environment, rather than leaving them scattered across separate systems.
For an enterprise, that translates into a connected set of tasks:
- collecting and structuring sustainability data
- monitoring performance
- identifying gaps and opportunities in the data
- developing decarbonization initiatives and tracking their progress
- automating reporting against leading standards
- assessing and managing offsetting opportunities as part of a broader climate strategy
The pitch rests on pairing AI-driven intelligence with end-to-end management. Olive Gaea positions the combination as a way for organisations to move past compliance and toward measurable impact and value creation. The bet is that data gathered to satisfy a reporting requirement has more than one use once it is structured and analysed.
Customers and recognition
Olive Gaea serves leading enterprises across a range of sectors. Alongside the 2025 Future 100 win, it has been recognised by UAE Future 100, BCG's V60 Women Leaders in MENA, Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 MENA Impact Winners and PwC's Future50.
Two regional firsts
ZERO is described as the first GRI-certified sustainability software in the GCC, and as the first PCAF-certified financed emissions solution in the MENA region. That second certification concerns financed emissions, the category covering emissions tied to an institution's lending and investment portfolios.
