PIF-backed HUMAIN invests in Arabic.AI to expand Arabic enterprise AI
HUMAIN, a PIF company, has taken a strategic stake in Arabic.AI and will pair its AI infrastructure with Arabic language technology for enterprise customers.

HUMAIN, a Saudi company owned by the Public Investment Fund, has made a strategic investment in Arabic.AI. The size of the deal was not disclosed. The partnership is meant to expand Arabic and multilingual enterprise AI solutions in Saudi Arabia and other international markets.
Arabic.AI was founded in the UAE in 2008 by Nour Al Hassan. Its enterprise language technology covers translation, document intelligence and Arabic AI. Tarjama adds more than 18 years of language technology and enterprise delivery experience to the arrangement.
Under the arrangement, HUMAIN contributes its full AI stack: locally operated AI infrastructure, next-generation compute and advanced models. Arabic.AI contributes Cleverso, an Arabic-first translation management system, its Arabic translation models, and a delivery model that embeds language technology directly into enterprise operations. The combined offering is intended to simplify adoption and reduce the time from concept to deployment for Arabic AI systems.
The first phase of work with early enterprise customers in Saudi Arabia will focus on three areas. One is a translation management system built for Arabic: enforced glossaries, compounding translation memory, and full control over where linguistic assets sit. Another is an archive digitisation engine that turns legacy documents, records and media into searchable Arabic knowledge. It is designed to handle handwritten and degraded script, classify content automatically, and manage access by rights. The third is a set of document intelligence agents that read, check and draft contracts, tenders and filings. The agents extract clauses, perform automated compliance checks, and keep a human in the loop for drafting.
The investment supports deployment of Arabic.AI’s solutions to Saudi enterprise customers at scale. The first solutions are scheduled to be unveiled at LEAP 2026.
Tareq Amin, HUMAIN’s chief executive, said Arabic remains one of the most complex and important languages for enterprise AI to serve well. By combining HUMAIN’s full AI stack with Arabic.AI and Tarjama’s language expertise, he said, the two companies intend to give organisations better tools for translation, document intelligence and multilingual AI. Amin said the focus is on turning proven technology into reliable, production-ready products that enterprises can deploy widely.
Nour Al Hassan, founder and chief executive of Arabic.AI, said Arabic is where enterprise AI is tested hardest, and that is what Arabic.AI was built to address. She described the partnership as a way to put Arabic-first AI into the hands of organisations across the Kingdom and help them move from ambition to production.
