Qatar-Backed Rasmal Ventures Joins Yuno's US$45 Million Series B
Yuno raised US$45 million in a Series B led by Global PayTech Ventures, adding Qatar-backed Rasmal Ventures to its investor group.
Yuno, the Colombia-founded payments infrastructure company, has raised US$45 million in a Series B round. Global PayTech Ventures led the round. Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, QuantumLight Capital, Monashees, Kaszek, Rasmal Ventures, Further Ventures, and GrowthX Capital also participated.
The Gulf presence on the cap sheet is the round's most telling detail. Rasmal Ventures is backed by the Qatar Investment Authority. Further Ventures is a sovereign-backed investment firm based in Abu Dhabi. GrowthX Capital is backed by entrepreneur Hamad Al-Hajri. Yuno has made Qatar its regional hub for the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Soumaya Ben Beya Dridje, a partner at Rasmal Ventures, said the Gulf's payments market is growing quickly. "The hardest problem in payments is being genuinely local everywhere," she said. Yuno, she added, pairs global ambition with the financial discipline the region's new trade corridors need.

Yuno connects businesses to more than 1,000 payment methods through a single API. The company counts more than 460 integrations across over 190 countries. The platform offers intelligent routing, one-click checkout, and AI-powered fraud detection.
The scale explains the investor lineup. Yuno recovered over US$5 billion in otherwise-failed transaction volume for merchants in the past year. It lifted authorization rates by roughly 5%. It saved customers more than US$500 million in processing costs. Yuno is on track to process US$100 billion in annual transaction volume within the next 12 months. Named customers include McDonald's, NetEase Games, GoFundMe, inDrive, and Rappi.
Juan Pablo Ortega, co-founder and CEO, said the raise is meant to meet customer growth and extend the company's lead. He described a clear line to profitability over the coming year. AI, he said, has changed the economics of building payments infrastructure.
The Gulf push extends beyond investors. Yuno Payments Arabia received Payment Technical Service Provider certification from the Saudi Central Bank in April. A partnership with Tap Payments opened local payment rails including Mada, KNET, and NAPS across all six GCC countries. A buy-now-pay-later partnership with Tabby serves more than 25 million shoppers across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The Qatar hub builds on those relationships.
The funding will accelerate Yuno's path to profitability and support product expansion into agentic commerce and its banking-sector business.
Yuno's regional positioning lines up with the broader market. ACI Worldwide ranks the Middle East as the world's fastest-growing real-time payments market. Being local there means holding the right certifications and riding the right rails. Yuno now has both, plus the capital to press its advantage.
