stc Group Shows AI-Ready Data Centers and Global Networks at LEAP 2026

stc Group was back at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh as a strategic partner. That is five straight years in the role. Its booth concentrated on digital solutions, secure infrastructure, and high-performance networks, and it used those three categories to frame almost everything else on display.

The technologies shown by stc covered advanced communications networks, data centers, and computing capabilities. The company positioned those systems as support for AI applications and the digital economy. It did not lead with a single product. The emphasis was on the underlying base that multiple industries need.

Saudi Arabia is expanding its use of AI and digital technologies across key sectors and national projects. Telecommunications investment, computing infrastructure, and talent underpin that expansion. Chief executive Eng. Olayan Alwetaid spoke on the Main Stage and pointed to the pace of the country's AI transformation. His presence put stc's booth in a wider national context.

That context matters for an operator whose work now reaches well beyond conventional network services. stc's LEAP message tied AI outcomes to physical assets: data centers that can handle compute loads, networks with enough capacity and speed, and routes that connect Saudi Arabia to the rest of the world. The company stressed that AI success depends on infrastructure as much as on applications.

Those assets are becoming concrete. Through center3, stc is building AI-ready data center capacity starting at 250 megawatts. It also works with HUMAIN on data center infrastructure, connectivity, and go-to-market strategy. stc's computing buildout therefore comes with a partner focused on turning infrastructure into adoption.

International capacity is a separate part of the same plan. stc is expanding connectivity through subsea cables, terrestrial networks, and satellite infrastructure. The goal is to tie Saudi Arabia's AI ecosystem to global markets. At its booth, stc's global network was presented alongside its data center portfolio, not treated as an afterthought.

The company repeated one operational standard for all of that hardware: capacity, speed, and reliability. stc also highlighted continued investment in digital infrastructure and technology, and it keeps partnerships with local and international technology companies. As Saudi Arabia presses for a larger position in the global AI and digital economy, stc's LEAP stand paired its data center plans with the international links required to put that capacity to work.
