CBD Invest Puts Net Worth, Goals and Portfolio Analytics Inside the Banking App
CBD's new platform folds investment analytics and goal tracking into the bank's mobile app, targeting customers who want their full financial position in one place.

CBD has built CBD Invest, a digital wealth management platform that sits inside the bank's mobile app rather than alongside it. The aim is to close a gap the industry has left open: banking and investing that run as one connected experience instead of two parallel ones.
At the center is a consolidated dashboard. It aggregates a customer's CBD accounts, investment portfolios and assets held at other institutions into a single view of net worth. That picture updates inside the app customers already open to check balances or move money.
Analytics that used to require an adviser
The platform carries portfolio analytics that were previously available mainly through dedicated advisory services. Users can benchmark performance against major global indices, examine asset allocation exposures, spot concentration risks and trace the drivers behind their returns. The analytics are available continuously, not on a quarterly schedule, and they sit within the everyday banking interface.
Goal-based investing is built in as well. Customers can tie their holdings to specific objectives — wealth accumulation, retirement, buying property or succession planning — and follow progress against them.
CBD Invest is designed for affluent, Elite and Private Banking customers. For those clients it pairs digital tools with dedicated relationship managers and an investment solutions team spanning a range of asset classes. Customers who prefer to manage their own investments without advisory support get the same depth of analytics and portfolio visibility through the app.
A wealth market that has changed shape
The UAE is one of the world's most active and diverse wealth markets, and more people there are actively growing their portfolios than before. They are not a single group. They include entrepreneurs running cross-border businesses, professionals investing over the long term and families planning across generations.
A digitally native generation of investors has different expectations from the ones before it. Waiting for a quarterly review, or opening several platforms to check a position, no longer appeals. Investors want real-time visibility of where they stand, the ability to act while on the move, and an integrated view of their finances inside the banking app they use daily. Insights that once required a dedicated adviser are now expected to be there by default.
Financial services have made real progress on how people bank or trade. Helping customers see their complete financial position, connect it to their goals and manage it in one experience remains largely unsolved. Customers often reconcile statements by hand across disconnected platforms, and investment decisions get made without a full view of the wider picture.
That matters most when markets turn. Short-term volatility can pull investors away from intentions they set for the long term. A platform that keeps those goals visible and measurable gives them something steadier to measure against.
